Search giant Google recently changed its logo. But there’s a good chance you probably didn’t even know about it until now.
An eagle-eyed user of the social news website Reddit spotted the change and posted about it earlier this week.

The change? Google moved the “g” right one pixel and “l” one pixel down and one pixel to the right.
The alteration, known as a “kerning” adjustment in the land of typography, is so subtle that to even detect it one has to use a before and after image overlayed on top of one another to notice it.
A Google spokesman told technology publication Gizmodo that it tweaked the logo “to make sure it looks its sharpest regardless of your screen resolution”.
